Aaron Bean, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 4th district, shared a series of tweets on May 13, 2025, highlighting legislative developments and economic indicators. Bean succeeded John Rutherford in 2023 and has a background in the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate.

On May 13, Aaron Bean announced that the “@WaysandMeansGOP has begun marking up our portion of @POTUS’ ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL.” He emphasized that their vision is aligned with pro-worker, pro-growth, pro-jobs, pro-family values, describing it as “100% pro-American.” Bean expressed his eagerness to collaborate with Chairman Jason Smith and colleagues to further this agenda.

Later that day, he tweeted about forthcoming tax relief measures stating that “Relief is on the way!” The Ways and Means Committee aims to make the 2017 Trump tax cuts permanent while offering additional relief for families and small businesses. These measures align with priorities such as eliminating taxes on tips, overtime pay, car loan interest, and providing general tax relief.

In another tweet posted shortly after, Bean highlighted economic progress by noting a decrease in inflation rates: “Last month, inflation once again dropped to 2.3%, the LOWEST SINCE 2021!” He credited this achievement to efforts by President Biden and House Republicans to fulfill promises of reducing inflation.

Bean was born in Fernandina Beach, Florida in 1967. He graduated from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989.
