Aaron Bean, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 4th district, shared his views on various topics through a series of tweets on February 5, 2025. Bean has been serving in Congress since 2023 and previously held positions in both the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate.

On February 5, 2025, Aaron Bean marked National Girls and Women in Sports Day by emphasizing the passage of the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act by the House GOP. He stated, “XX ≠XY. That’s why @HouseGOP passed the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act. We will not allow the woke progressive mob to make women second-class citizens in their own sports.”

Later that day, Bean announced Scott Turner as the next Secretary for Housing and Urban Development (HUD). He expressed his anticipation for collaboration with Turner and House GOP members to address housing issues: “Our next HUD Secretary is Scott Turner! I look forward to working with him and the @HouseGOP to achieve safe, affordable housing for all citizens, to strengthen our communities, and to revitalize the American Dream.”

In another tweet posted on February 5, 2025, Bean supported Speaker Johnson’s statement regarding government efficiency. He defended DOGE’s establishment as a means to enhance governmental operations: “Well said, @SpeakerJohnson! It’s NOT a takeover! @DOGE was established to improve government efficiency and stop the abuse of taxpayer dollars—and it’s doing just that.”
