Aaron Bean, a U.S. Congress member representing Florida’s 4th district since 2023, shared several updates on June 2, 2025, regarding his political stance and ongoing efforts in government. He has been vocal about his commitment to certain issues affecting both his state and the nation.

In a tweet posted at 15:13 UTC, Bean emphasized that “Florida is NOT a sanctuary state, and under @GovRonDeSantis’ leadership, we BANNED sanctuary cities.” He reiterated the state’s position as prioritizing American citizens’ interests.

Later that day at 17:57 UTC, Bean addressed national safety concerns by stating that “To keep our citizens and communities safe, we must ADDRESS the rampant crime crisis sweeping the nation.” He expressed pride in joining Representative Knott to urge Attorney General Pam Bondi to focus on investigations and prosecutions related to retail theft crimes impacting urban areas.

In another communication with Fox News at 20:55 UTC, Bean discussed fiscal responsibility. He noted that “Exposing reckless, wasteful government spending isn’t about one individual — it’s about a lasting overhaul of Crazy Town.” He highlighted collaborative efforts with the White House to ensure recession packages incorporate findings from DOGE (Department of Government Expenditure).

Born in Fernandina Beach in 1967 and currently residing there, Aaron Bean has an extensive political career including service in the Florida House of Representatives from 2000 to 2008 and the Florida Senate from 2012 to 2022. A graduate of Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 1989, he succeeded John Rutherford as representative for Florida’s 4th district.
