Aaron Bean, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 4th district since 2023, has actively addressed fiscal and electoral issues through his social media platform in April 2025.

On April 9, 2025, Bean discussed the potential expiration of the 2017 tax cuts, warning that it could result in “a 22% tax hike—the largest in U.S. history.” He emphasized the necessity to extend Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, explaining that the @HouseGOP is working on this extension to prevent significant financial impacts on working Americans.

The next day, on April 10, 2025, Bean announced that the @HouseGOP passed the Senate Budget Resolution. He elaborated that the vote marked “the first step to prevent the largest tax increase in American history” and to facilitate the budget reconciliation process. Bean noted that House Republicans are determined to “restore fiscal sanity.”

Later on the same day, Bean reported that the House had passed the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act. The legislation, advocated by @HouseGOP, mandates that only American citizens are eligible to vote in U.S. elections. Bean pointed out that 208 Democrats opposed the measure, which he claims illustrates their resistance to preventing noncitizens from voting.

Aaron Bean, serving Florida’s 4th District, has a long political history extending back to his previous roles in the Florida House of Representatives (2000-2008) and the Florida Senate (2012-2022). Born in Fernandina Beach, Florida, in 1967, he earned his BS from Jacksonville University in 1989.
