On April 9, 2025, Bean discussed the potential expiration of the 2017 tax cuts, warning that it could result in “a 22% tax hike—the largest in U.S. history.” He emphasized the necessity to extend Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, explaining that the @HouseGOP is working on this extension to prevent significant financial impacts on working Americans.
The next day, on April 10, 2025, Bean announced that the @HouseGOP passed the Senate Budget Resolution. He elaborated that the vote marked “the first step to prevent the largest tax increase in American history” and to facilitate the budget reconciliation process. Bean noted that House Republicans are determined to “restore fiscal sanity.”
Later on the same day, Bean reported that the House had passed the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act.
