Green Cove Springs, FL—U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) today announced the appointment of Christina Troope as the new Field Representative responsible for veterans’ affairs.

As a key veteran liaison, Troope will handle veterans’ issues and coordinate with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and other stakeholders on behalf of the Fourth District.

“As a son of a WWII veteran, I understand that veterans’ benefits are not entitlements—they’re earned. Our veterans should never be stuck in the bureaucratic process or ever think twice about getting the care they need. That’s why I’m excited to have Christina onboard to assist the more than 70,000 veterans that call the Fourth District home,” said Congressman Bean. “Christina’s heart for service, unwavering care, and empathy will make her a trusted voice for our veterans’ community.”

Christina Troope grew up in a family of active duty and retired military members and has seen first-hand the sacrifice that comes with serving our nation. Troope brings to our office several years of experience in government and education. She holds a degree in Political Science and History from The University at Albany as well as a Master’s degree in education from the University of West Georgia. Troope looks forward to working with Florida’s brave patriots in her new role.

If you, a friend, or a family member needs assistance accessing veterans’ benefits, please contact our office at 904-319-9433 or send us an email.
