U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean, representing Florida’s 4th district and co-chair of the DOGE Caucus, issued a statement following the approval of the Trump Administration’s rescissions request by House Republicans. The approved request aims to reduce $9.4 billion in spending deemed unnecessary by the DOGE Caucus.

In his statement, Congressman Bean emphasized the importance of government efficiency and accountability: “Taxpayers deserve an efficient, accountable government. H.R. 4, the Rescissions Act of 2025, cuts reckless, politically biased spending identified by DOGE and takes a critical step toward fiscal health.” He further urged prompt action from the Senate: “House Republicans are ready to restore responsibility—I urge the Senate to act swiftly. Let’s go get’em!”

The DOGE Caucus has been a long-time advocate for implementing such financial cuts and plans to continue its collaboration with the White House on future rescission efforts.
