Aaron Bean, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 4th district, has recently shared his views on tax policies and legislative efforts through a series of tweets. As an advocate for maintaining the Trump-era tax cuts, Bean has been vocal about the potential impact of their expiration on his constituents and specific sectors like agriculture.

On May 13, 2025, Aaron Bean tweeted about the potential consequences if the Trump tax cuts were to expire. He stated that “If the Trump tax cuts expire, 401,310 #FL04 taxpayers would see a 25% TAKE HIKE! Meanwhile, a family of four at the median income would face a $1,372 tax increase—that’s worth about 8 weeks of groceries!” He emphasized that @WaysandMeansGOP is actively working to prevent this scenario.

In another tweet posted on May 14, 2025, Bean expressed support for what he described as “ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL,” aimed at providing hope and prosperity. He stated that “The target and delivery of ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL is to bring hope and prosperity to those who are quietly paying the bills and trying to get by.” He asserted that voting ‘YES’ on this bill was crucial and reiterated @WaysandMeansGOP’s commitment to achieving its passage.

Later that day, Aaron Bean addressed the importance of extending the Trump Tax Cuts for America’s farmers in another tweet. On May 14, he tweeted: “Let’s be clear: the Trump Tax Cuts were a huge savings for America’s farmers. If we don’t extend these tax cuts, our #FL04 family-owned farms would have their Death Tax Exemptions SLASHED IN HALF next year.” He assured his followers that he would continue working with @WaysandMeansGOP throughout the night.

Aaron Bean has served in Congress since replacing John Rutherford in 2023. Prior to his current role, he was part of both Florida’s House of Representatives from 2000 to 2008 and its Senate from 2012 to 2022. Born in Fernandina Beach in 1967 and residing there today at age 56, Bean holds a BS from Jacksonville University earned in 1989.
