Congressman Bean announces 2025 service academy nominations for Florida’s Fourth District

On March 6, U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean announced the nominations for the 2025 U.S. Service Academy from Florida’s Fourth Congressional District. The announcement took place at a ceremony held at FSCJ Cecil Field in Jacksonville.

A committee comprising military leaders and community members from Northeast Florida conducted a thorough interview and selection process. Based on their recommendations, Congressman Bean nominated 19 students who met the academic and physical standards required by the Military Service Academies.

“It is an honor to nominate these young men and women to our nation’s esteemed military service academies. Their dedication to leadership, commitment to service, and duty to country is inspiring and represents the very best of the next generation,” said Congressman Bean.

The nominees for the United States Air Force Academy include Bo Gatti, Julianna Miller, Braxton Lee, Jack McGohan, Treyton Schnorbus, and Zachary Joiner. For the United States Naval Academy, nominees are Comadore Perry, Dylan Cable, Jack McGohan, Preston Lewis, Sawyer Gammon, Bo Gatti again appears here along with Ella Currie, Joy Nolte, Julianna Miller also appears again along with Kairi Bonzo, Raelynn Walker, Tyler Crook, and William Moore.

For the United States Military Academy at West Point nominations were given to Bo Gatti once more alongside Brian Grieve. Finally for the United States Merchant Marine Academy Cael Kubatzke was nominated alongside Chase Crerar with Comadore Perry appearing once more followed by Jack McGohan yet again along with Tyler Crook also appearing again.

Students receiving a nomination must still secure an offer of admission into an academy. Upon admission they will receive a four-year university education while committing to serve in the military for at least five years after graduation.
