On Friday, Feb. 14, former Fernandina Beach High School standout Samuel Simonds’ current college team, the Southern Wesleyan Warriors, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Belmont Abbey Crusaders.
The game took place at Abbey Yard. This was their first matchup against the Crusaders this season.
The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 5:50 p.m. at Abbey Yard against Belmont Abbey Crusaders.
