The following day, January 29, 2025, Bean announced the enactment of the Laken Riley Act into law. On January 30, 2025, Bean highlighted an economic initiative known as DOGE. According to his tweet, “DOGE is already saving taxpayers $1 BILLION a day!” He noted that this achievement occurred within just ten days of the new administration taking office.
