On Wednesday, March 26, former Fernandina Beach High School standout Samuel Simonds’ current college team, the Southern Wesleyan Warriors, lost 9-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Young Harris Mountain Lions.

The game took place at Zell B. Miller Field. This was their second matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.

The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 5 p.m. at Dr. C Keith Connor Field against Barton Bulldogs.
