On Friday, April 4, former Fernandina Beach High School standout Samuel Simonds’ current college team, the Southern Wesleyan Warriors, lost 6-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wingate Bulldogs.

The game took place at Ron Christopher Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. at Ron Christopher Stadium against Wingate Bulldogs.
