On Friday, March 21, former Fernandina Beach High School standout Samuel Simonds’ current college team, the Southern Wesleyan Warriors, lost 22-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Francis Marion Patriots.
The game took place at Sparrow Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Patriots this season.
The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at Sparrow Stadium against Francis Marion Patriots.
