THE BOLLES SCHOOL: Annual Pumpkin Drop A Smash, Successful Fundraiser

Fund

The Bolles School issued the following announcement.

On October 30, the Bolles Upper School Dreams Come True Club staged its annual Pumpkin Drop fundraiser, which culminated in the launch of a 52.2-pound pumpkin from the top of Bolles Hall’s south tower. Friday’s pumpkin drop is a much anticipated event. During the week prior to the launch, students try to guess the weight of the pumpkin for a donation to Dreams Come True. The student whose guess is closest to the pumpkin’s actual weight, wins the opportunity to shove the pumpkin off the tower ledge. Dreams Come True Club President Leah Zimmerman '21 led the introduction and countdown. This year’s pumpkin exploded with an impressive thud below.
