The Bolles School issued the following announcement.
The Bolles varsity football team will open the 2020 postseason at The Villages (6-0) on Friday, November 13, in a Region 2-4A quarterfinal. Kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
The Bulldogs posted a regular season of 6-2, but the 2020 season is far from regular. Due to COVID-19, scheduling games was limited and dynamic. Many schools, especially in South Florida, opted out of the state playoffs and the post-season selection was randomized. Instead of seeding the playoffs based on record, district play or rankings, the brackets included all teams that did not opt out and seeds were determined by random draw and home teams were determined by a coin flip.
