The Bolles School issued the following announcement.
Kindergarten students on the Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus spent the morning outside in the November sun, reaping the bounty from raised garden beds they’ve been tending all fall.
Under the direction of head agriculture specialist and science teacher, Carolyn Houston, students harvested beautiful orange carrots – a golden moment in their earth science studies!
The campus kitchen often utilizes vegetables and herbs from the campus gardens to prepare students’ daily healthy meals.
Fresh is best at Bolles! Congratulations on a beautiful harvest, Kindergarteners. For a few 14-carrot photos, visit our online photo album.
