City of St. Augustine issued the following announcement.

Which Restaurants are open for takeout meals or seated dining? There are many choices in St. Augustine Today.

First, if you are looking for restaurants that offer a special meal on December 24th or 25th, go here.

What's New? The cold weather.

With the seasonal change in temperature, we've updated the list to show which restaurants offer INSIDE DINING and which also offer OUTSIDE DINING. Of the latter, we indicate which restaurants are confirmed to have heaters in their outside dining area. (This is a list in progress. If you have a restaurant not listed here or want to update your information, please send a message here.)

As of September 25, 2020, bars and restaurants may open at 100% capacity and masks are no longer required by law.

Governor DeSantis has announced that Florida is in Phase Three allowing bars and restaurants to open at 100% capacity, removing the social distancing requirement at gyms and health clubs, and declaring that no local government may assess penalties and fines to those who choose not to wear a mask.

Here's where we are in St. Augustine.Masks are strongly encouraged in the City of St. Augustine, the City of St. Augustine Beach, and St. Johns County businesses and in public spaces when social distancing is not possible. Individual businesses may opt to have a rule requiring masks for anyone over the age of 2.

Restaurants Open for Inside Dining, Outside Dining, and TakeoutRestaurants and Bars are allowed to open at full capacity. Some restaurants require staff and guests to wear masks, while others do not. Some have elected to remain open at less than full capacity, others are open for take-out only, and a few have decided not to open, for now. We work to keep this list up-to-date, but cannot accommodate short closures, or changing hours. Please be aware that conditions may require any restaurant or bar to close early, open late, change their hours, or close for a few days and reopen. In short, things are fluid. We strongly suggest that you call any bar or eatery before creating plans, driving some distance, and looking for parking.
