Episcopal School of Jacksonville issued the following announcement on Aug. 4.
The Beaches Campus new playground area is ready to welcome students next week. The playground area recently received an additional shade structure to provide cover for students during recess. Summit Contracting was on campus last week removing the final materials from the old playground area and preparing the site to begin construction for the new gymnasium and performing arts center. Due to material delays and labor shortages, construction is scheduled to begin in November.
We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the capital campaign to move the library and build a gymnasium and performing arts center. This is a transformational campaign that will enrich the campus and its programs for many years.
