North Florida women's tennis completes its coaching staff as head coach Catherine Dunagan announces the hiring of assistant coach Anastasia Reimchen.
"We are so excited for Anastasia to join our program as our graduate assistant coach," head coach Catherine Dunagan said. "She brings a vast amount of experience to our program from being a great player at Iowa and traveling the world on the pro circuit. She is passionate about tennis, coaching, and making an impact on the overall health and wellness of our players. I know that she will be a great fit here at UNF, and I look forward to working together to achieve the goals of our program."
Reimchen will serve as assistant while Ana Roman Dominguez will serve as the program's volunteer assistant.
Born in Germany, Reimchen moved to England at four years old before growing up and earning the opportunity to play collegiately at the University of Iowa.
In Iowa City Reimchen earned a No. 47 and No. 49 national ranking in doubles play. She also racked up a series of accolades, including the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award, Grinder Award and Iron Hawk award.
Reimchen competed predominately at the top doubles slot, while also earning time at the second and third slot. She also picked up nine singles victories in addition to 56 doubles triumphs.
After her days as a Hawkeye, Reimchen moved on to play on the ITF Pro Circuit, training largely in Boca Raton, Fla.
