Bolles School issued the following announcement on Aug. 18.
Bolles Track & Field Head Coach Mike Rivera was selected as the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Girls’ High School Coach of the Year for the state of
Florida for the 2021 season. The honor is based on Rivera’s leadership and the success of the Bolles team throughout the 2021 season. The Bolles girls’ won the program’s fourth
state title in 2021, along with district and region titles. The state title was the first for Rivera as track and field head coach, along with two state titles in boys’ cross country.
