Bolles School issued the following announcement on Sept. 15.
Grade 5 students on the Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus learned new lessons in teamwork and character during a recent lesson that is sure to stick.
Using marshmallows and toothpicks, student teams were challenged to build towers that were stable and well designed. The lesson was part of a character development lesson in
the iLab and classroom. Facilitators Shelley Serafin and Stacey Hendershot challenged students to incorporate team-building and collaboration skills as well as good
communication. Like marshmallow and toothpick towers, character development at Bolles begins early and builds through middle and upper school experiences.
