City of St. Augustine recently issued the following announcement.
The annual Unity Pink Motorcycle event is back this year with the charity ride starting and stopping at Adamec Harley Davidson on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021.
The Annual Unity Pink Motorcycle Ride and Event returns this year at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021. The event will start and stop at the Adamec Harley Davidson dealership at the St. Augustine Outlet Mall.
All of the funds raised through this event go to Unity Outreach, a 501(c)3 non-profit that works to create awareness and provide monetary support for women who are currently undergoing breast cancer treatment and past survivors.
The approximately 70-mile escorted motorcycle ride covers some of the most scenic roadways in the St. Augustine area. The event also includes a live band, raffle and silent auction.
Registration begins at 8:30 on the day of the ride. Registration is $30 for a single biker and includes a T-shirt, lunch and goody bag. Passengers are $20 and includes a T-shirt and lunch.

Unity Outreach, Inc. is non-profit organization founded by two sisters, Peggy Jones and Sherry Turner after Sherry lost her daughter Wendy Judeen Owens to breast cancer. Their mission is to support other families and patients battling breast cancer. All of the funds raised by Unity Outreach stay in the local community to help with needs not covered by insurance or other agencies, which may include co-pays, medicines, treatments and supplies. Supporting education and early detection are the best tools for saving lives.
