University of North Florida: Coggin Women Executives host roundtable discussion on ‘The Road to Leadership’

University of North Florida issued the following announcement on October 13.

The University of North Florida’s Coggin Graduate and Executive Programs (CGEP) is hosting a women executives roundtable for graduate students that will explore “The Road to Leadership.” The evening will feature a panel discussion moderated by Interim President Pam Chally, speed mentoring and a keynote speech from Elaine Johnson, principal of corporate development and strategic investments for Florida Blue.

Speakers and roundtable panelists are alums from Coggin College of Business Graduate Programs and represent diverse sectors including non-profit, finance, healthcare and energy. During the roundtable discussion, attendees will learn more about the path to leadership and receive valuable leadership lessons and advice. During the speed mentoring event, Coggin graduate students will have a unique opportunity to connect with women leaders and role models in the Jacksonville business community.

The event is sponsored by Borland Groover, one of Florida’s leading gastroenterology providers delivering everything from colon cancer screenings to advanced high-tech procedures and clinical trials. Borland Groover is one of many companies that CGEP has developed a relationship with in an effort to provide employers with highly skilled, well-rounded graduate students.

UNF’s CGEP is committed to navigating the ever-evolving landscape of the business world to help meet the needs of local Jacksonville companies. The CGEP alumni network spans globally and has a strong presence locally, fostering opportunities to connect with students, alumni and potential employers.

The event will be held at the Coggin Graduate and Executive Program’s downtown location at 112 West Adams St, 4th floor, on Thursday, Oct. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m.
