University of North Florida issued the following announcement on Nov. 18.
OneJax, an Institute of the University of North Florida, will celebrate their 104th Interfaith Thanksgiving Gratitude Service honoring the theme of “compassion” tonight.
In addition to the Gratitude Service, OneJax will collect canned and dry goods for the Max Block Food Pantry at Jewish Family & Community Services (JFCS) and encouraged
attendees to give generously so that food pantry clients can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.
OneJax offers various interfaith events and series for the community to connect and engage through their spirituality, all while exploring religious diversity from different faith
traditions. Their focus is on creating dialogue and working with the community to find common ground on interfaith issues by promoting relationships and understanding among
every faith tradition.
