Bond Adds 23 in UNF’s Second Game Against an ACC Foe This Year
UNF women's basketball (4-2) had Clemson (3-2) on the ropes with a two-point lead heading into the final frame, but the Tigers were able to fend off a hot shooting Ospreys team, 84-72, Wednesday, Nov. 24 from Littlejohn Coliseum.
Moore, a native of Charleston, S.C., poured in 29 points in her return to her home state, while forward Jazz Bond was close behind with 23 of her own. The Ospreys netted 12 three-pointers in the loss, while shooting 50.9 percent from the floor.
Moore's 75-percent shooting day is good for 10th in UNF single-game history.

Both teams shot well Wednesday, with North Florida shooting 50.9 from the field and Clemson at 50.8. The Tigers were able to get the edge in the paint, although UNF converted eight-more three-pointers than the hosts.
