Boil Water Advisory

Boil water notice

City of Fernandina Beach recently issued the following announcement.

On January 24, 2022, there is a scheduled water outage to install a watermain extension. Water will be off starting at 8:00 am until 1:00 pm. The affected area will be Clinch Drive

between Lime Street and Verbena Lane, as well as Olive Street and Pine Trail. If your address is included, you will receive a door tag. Once water is turned back on, a boil water

notice will be in effect. Customers in this area are hereby advised to boil their water for five minutes at a rolling boil prior to use for drinking or cooking. When repairs are made and

lines are flushed, the City of Fernandina Beach will submit bacteriological samples for two consecutive days to a certified laboratory for analysis. An 'all clear' notice will be issued

when satisfactory samples are received. Questions may be directed to Joshua Glisson: (904) 510-1160.
