From Friday, April 22 – Tuesday, April 26, 43 artists from across the country displayed their work at Episcopal School of Jacksonville, St. Mark’s Campus. During these five days, A Vision for Art resulted in 102 artwork sales generating $89,575 for the artistic community, mission of Episcopal School of Jacksonville, and St. Mark’s Campus.

The A Future for Art student art series raised an additional $7,950. A Future for Art provided students from all grade levels the unique opportunity to collaborate with artists and create one-of-a-kind masterpieces. “I enjoyed working with Diana Pawloski to create a really beautiful sunset,” said Luke Michaud, third grade student. “Each student got to do equal parts and it was really inspiring.”

More than 325 people attended the Opening Night Celebration on Friday, April 22. “It was an absolute pleasure to be there, and very clear from the event, Episcopal truly embodies a love for the arts,” said Caitlin Flynn, 2022 Participating Artist.

According to Bebe Alexander, Art Instructor and 2022 Art Curator, this event started with the purpose of welcoming members of the Jacksonville community and beyond to the St. Mark’s Campus, while promoting exceptional artists and art education. “I am grateful to the many artists who are willing to share their talents, while supporting our wonderful school, ” said Alexander.

“A Vision for Art would not be possible without the professionalism, organization, and tireless effort of so many volunteers and sponsors who support this event,” said Susan Kwartler, Director of Development, Episcopal School of Jacksonville, St. Mark’s Campus. “St. Mark’s Campus extends its gratitude to everyone who has given their time, talent, and dedication in helping to make this event a success in so many ways.”
