The Bolles Veterans Encouraging Teen Success Club, founded during the 2021-22 school year on the Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus, had a very successful inaugural season.
Known as V.E.T.S., the club and its leadership raised more than $1,000 for local nonprofit, K9s for Warriors. The group’s primary fundraiser was the Walk for Warriors 2022, which took place on The Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus May 22.
Club President Katherine Asbury ’24 and Vice President Lydia Lane ’24 thanked Scott Taylor, the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America, Earth Pets and faculty co-sponsors Laura Lane and Daniel Ferrari for their support of and generosity toward the V.E.T.S. Club.
Club leaders will continue their momentum next year. Supporters can follow their progress in different veteran-supporting fundraising events via the club’s Instagram page, @thevetsclub.
