Ace Hardware recently announced that its chain of stores in northeast Florida, Hagan Ace Hardwares, will hold a 60th anniversary event on Friday and Saturday.

"We have a big sale coming up this Friday and Saturday to celebrate the 60’s – most items are 60 cents, $60 off or 60% off. We are celebrating at all nine locations," said Tera Lageman, director of advertising and marketing for Hagan Ace.

Hagan Ace Hardware has nine locations and counting, and has been offering its products and home maintenance services to Florida shoppers for six decades.

"It's a multi-generational business the Hagan family has built," Lageman said. "It started with the Hilliard store in 1962 and the business is still growing. We currently have nine locations, and have store number 10 coming online in a few months and number 11 being built in our owner’s hometown of Callahan that will open next year."

The store continues to provide solutions to the specific needs of the Hilliard community, including paint, lawn and garden. Hagan Ace Hardware also offers products in categories including hardware, electrical, plumbing, automotive and home decor.
