Staff is working with an outside vendor to repair the propane heaters that bring the pool up to and maintain a comfortable water temperature.
October 11, 2022 UPDATE:
We are reopening the Palm Coast Aquatics Center today, October 11, for our normal operating hours for adult lap swim only (no programming, lessons, or open swim currently). Please be aware that our heaters are currently not working, which means our staff cannot control the temperature of the water. We are allowing adult lap swim only as the body is constantly moving and can efficiently maintain your core body temperature. We strongly encourage swimmers to stay hydrated, stay warm, and exit the water if you feel unwell. Swimmers can check the current water temperature at https://www.palmcoastgov.com/parks/aquatics-center. Our staff will be updating the temperature once in the morning and once in the afternoon. We appreciate your patience as we work through the repair process.
October 10, 2022 UPDATE:
The City of Palm Coast is working diligently to reopen the Palm Coast Aquatics Center. Staff is working with an outside vendor to repair the propane heaters that bring the pool up to and maintain a comfortable water temperature. With supply chain issues persisting nationwide, parts necessary to complete the repair are still back-ordered.
With cooler temperatures staying, staff cannot heat the pool to a comfortable temperature. If cooler weather conditions continue, the Aquatics Center may need to close intermittently. We apologize for any inconvenience and continue to appreciate your patience. Please continue to monitor the City website for facility updates.
