The Bolles girls’ golf team won the Region 1-1A tournament for the fourth year in a row on October 31 at Windsor Parke, qualifying for the state tournament for the eighth straight season. The Bulldogs were led by Madison Balaskiewicz ’23 who shot 75 to place in a four-way tie for second in the individual standings. Violet Robbins ’24 (77), Anaiya Nahar ’25 (79), Grace Breffitt ’27 (85) and Chloe McGrath ’27 (87) completed the girls’ line-up.
Playing at Marsh Landing, the Bolles boys placed second to advance to the state tournament. Andrew Morgan ’23 led the Bulldogs with a round of 71 to tie for second in the individual standings. Luke Balaskiewicz ’25 followed in fourth (72). Andrew Kunkle ’23 (80), Dylan Ma ’23 (81) and Hudson Bell ’24 (84) completed the boys’ lineup.
The Class 1A Girls’ and Boys’ State Championships will be held November 11-12 at the Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills.
