Students on all four Bolles campuses have been participating in community service initiatives that are helping Bulldogs focus on giving back to others during the holiday season.

Every classroom on the Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus has been working with local nonprofit organizations and completing service projects during the weeks leading up to winter break:

• Pre-K – Jacksonville Humane Society
• Kindergarten – Youth Crisis Center & Toys for Tots
• Grade 1 – The Arc Jacksonville
• Grade 2 – Project Chance
• Grade 3 – Isaiah House
• Grade 4 – K9s for Warriors
• Grade 5 – VA Victory House

While all Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus grade levels complete service projects throughout the year, students in Grades 2 and 4 participated in projects this December. Grade 2 students completed chores at home to earn money to buy stocking stuffers for the children living at Seamark Ranch. Fourth graders also did chores to fund their gifts for the Trinity Rescue Mission Gift Closet. This initiative gives women who are struggling with homelessness a place to select gifts for their children and bring them a bit of joy during the holiday season.

Various clubs and advisory groups on the Bolles Middle School Bartram Campus also worked hard to give back to the community. Led by Anya Shah ’27, who volunteers with K.I.D.S. (Kindness In A Diverse Society), students donated 73 toys to children served by local nonprofit Daniel. Students across multiple advisories also “adopted” a family in need through Family Promise. These students purchased items for the family and learned about the mission and outreach of the organization.   

On the Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus, many students demonstrated The Bolles Way through fundraisers and volunteer opportunities organized by their respective clubs. Learn more about some of these impactful service projects here.
