Yesterday, U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean and Speaker Mike Johnson, along with 64 colleagues, visited Eagle Pass, Texas to witness the dire situation at the southern border caused by the Biden Administration's failure to effectively address the border crisis. The delegation aimed to understand the challenges faced by Customs Border Patrol (CBP) officers and assess the need for additional resources.

During the visit, Congressman Bean expressed his frustration with the lack of progress in securing the border, stating, "Our porous border is an open wound being taken advantage of by criminals, human traffickers, cartels, and even terrorists from around the world." He further criticized President Biden and Senate Democrats for their refusal to take decisive action in shutting down the border.
