WASHINGTON—Yesterday, on the House floor, U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) criticized President Biden's handling of the border crisis. In his speech, Congressman Bean emphasized the impact of President Biden's open border policies and refuted the false claim that Republicans are to blame for the situation.

Mr. Speaker, can you guess how many times President Biden has visited the border in 2023 compared to how many days he went on vacation? 1 versus 138! Maybe if President Biden spent more time at the border, he would understand the chaos his policies have created.

This is my first term in Congress, and I've just returned from my second trip to the border. What I saw was illegal immigrants walking across our border and then being chauffeured to the processing center where they are given free bus and airline tickets to cities across America.

Mr. Speaker, from China to Latin America and Guinea to Iran, our porous border is an open wound being taken advantage of by criminals, human traffickers, cartels, and even terrorists from around the world. Those who are unlawfully coming across the border are not here to bless us, but to harm us.

The massive migrant caravans will not stop until we secure the border. More taxpayer funding isn't the answer. That would just mean processing more illegal immigrants into our nation. This administration can deny, deflect, and detract, but President Biden cannot escape that there is an invasion happening at our southern border—the actual root cause of which is his senseless and reckless open border policies.

Yet in typical fashion, President Biden has attempted to shift blame for the influx of illegal migration to his favorite political targets: House Republicans. But here's the truth:

"It was President Biden who ended the Remain in Mexico policy," Congressman Bean stated. "It was President Biden who ended Title 42. It was President Biden who instructed CBP agents to cut the razor wire at the border."

And as a result of President Biden's far-left open border policies, NYC students are being kicked out of school in order to house illegal immigrants that have willingly broken our laws, and our taxpayer dollars are funding it.

"Our southern border remains open for one reason and one reason only because President Biden and Senate Democrats are purposefully refusing to shut it down," Congressman Bean asserted.

In conclusion, Congressman Bean called on the Biden administration to prioritize the security of the border and not turn their backs on the American citizens who make this nation great.

The article aims to highlight Congressman Aaron Bean's criticism of President Biden's open border policies. Congressman Bean argues that President Biden's failure to address the border crisis is a direct result of his senseless and reckless policies. He refutes the claim that Republicans are to blame and emphasizes the need to secure the border to prevent harm from criminals, human traffickers, cartels, and terrorists. The article also mentions specific actions taken by President Biden that have contributed to the crisis, such as ending the Remain in Mexico policy and Title 42. Congressman Bean calls on the Biden administration to prioritize the security of the border and protect the interests of American citizens.
