WASHINGTON—U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) has returned from a recent Congressional Delegation (CODEL) trip to Israel, where he met with top Israeli officials and witnessed firsthand the aftermath of attacks by Hamas. During the trip, Congressman Bean and his colleagues visited various sites, including the Nova Music Festival site and Kibbutz Nir Oz, where Hamas carried out brutal attacks.

Speaking about his trip, Congressman Bean emphasized the importance of supporting Israel during these challenging times. He stated, “We cannot abandon Israel in her darkest hour. We must guarantee that our ally has the weapons to defend herself, bring the hostages home, defeat bloodthirsty Hamas, and face down the Iran regime and its terror proxies.”

The delegation's meetings with President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu aimed to understand the official perspective of Israel and discuss issues impacting the U.S.-Israel relationship. This trip marked Congressman Bean's first diplomatic visit to Israel, as part of an effort by newly elected House Republicans to grasp the geopolitical and national security challenges in the region.
