The American Conservative Union Foundation (ACUF) has released its 53rd Annual Federal Ratings of Congress, announcing that U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) is among the recipients of ACUF’s Award for Conservative Excellence. Congressman Bean earned a 95% rating for his voting record during the first session of the 118th Congress.

“I promised Northeast Floridians that I would fight the Far Left every day with bold, conservative action, and I have kept my word,” said Congressman Bean. “I will continue to empower hard-working Americans, to limit the size of the federal government, and to curb Washington’s reckless spending.”

Each year, ACUF produces an annual scorecard based on the voting records of members in both the United States Senate and House of Representatives. All members of Congress are issued a score, and awards are presented to those who score 80 percent or higher.

This year, some of the key issues scored by ACUF included:

- H.R. 1, Lower Energy Costs Act

- H.R. 2, Secure the Border Act

- H.R. 5, Parents Bill of Rights

- Protection of women and girls in sports

- Ending DEI practices in the military

- Key presidential nominations to cabinet positions
