Aaron Bean, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 4th district, has recently taken to social media to express his views on FEMA and announce initiatives aimed at government efficiency. Bean, who succeeded John Rutherford in Congress in 2023, has a background in both the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate.

On November 18, 2024, Aaron Bean criticized FEMA for what he perceives as political maneuvering. He stated that "FEMA playing politics will not be tolerated." Bean indicated that the Transportation GOP would address this issue directly as FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell was scheduled to testify during the week.

The following day, November 19, 2024, Bean announced the formation of a new caucus aimed at curbing government spending. He tweeted that "Pres. Trump appointed @elonmusk & @VivekGRamaswamy to lead @DOGE, but taking on crazy town is no easy task." This led him to establish the Delivering Outstanding Government Efficiency (DOGE) Caucus with a mission to eliminate reckless spending in Washington.

In another tweet posted on November 19, 2024, Bean extended gratitude towards his colleagues for their involvement in the DOGE Caucus. He gave "Special thanks to DOGE Caucus co-chair @PeteSessions and members @Congressman_JVD, @RepRalphNorman, @CoryMillsFL, @RepMaloyUtah, @RepBrecheen and @RepJeffDuncan."
