Aaron Bean, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 4th district, shared several updates on social media in December 2024. Bean has been serving in Congress since 2023, succeeding John Rutherford. Prior to this role, he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate.

On December 9, 2024, Aaron Bean expressed his condolences for the loss suffered by Congressman Michael Burgess' family. He stated: "Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Congressman @michaelcburgess' daughter. Abby and I offer our condolences to Michael and his family during this very difficult time."

On December 10, 2024, Bean addressed concerns about federal spending on unused office space. He remarked: "Right now, American taxpayers are forced to pay $2 BILLION a year for office space—almost half the size of Disney World—that federal employees refuse to use. This is the exact type of waste the @DOGE will crackdown on!"
