U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean of Florida has cast his vote in favor of H.R. 10545, a legislative measure designed by House Republicans to prevent a government shutdown while providing disaster relief across the nation.
Congressman Bean emphasized the importance of fiscal responsibility in a statement, following a meeting with Vice President-elect Vance and Speaker Johnson. "Earlier today, I had a productive meeting with Vice President-elect Vance and Speaker Johnson on how to deliver real results for the American people," said Bean.
Highlighting concerns about national debt, he stated, "We owe it to the next generation to rein in our unsustainable national debt and both President Trump and House Republicans will make the necessary reductions we promised the American people."
Bean also mentioned his role as co-founder of the House Doge Caucus, underscoring his commitment to financial discipline. He noted that "This package will clear the path for President Trump and our unified Republican leadership to keep our government open and return our nation to a path of economic prosperity."
