The University of North Florida Surf Team will compete in the three-day National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA) championships in Dana Point, California, from June 17 to June 19.
The undisputed six-time consecutive winners of the NSSA East Coast Championships will compete with the best in the country for the national title. This year’s nine-member team led by captain Charlie Current is attempting to become the first East Coast team to win the championships.
Due to COVID-19, this is UNF's first appearance back at nationals since 2019 when the team placed second best in the country, only nine points behind winner California State University San Marcos.
